The IAEG 2026 scientific committee will be updated in 2025.
Session chairs
For each congress theme or sub-theme, sub-committees will be created and chaired by a pair of scientists or practitioners.
During the congress, each session will also be chaired by two local or international experts and a scientific secretary will be invited to report on the outcome of the session.
The IAEG 2026 executive committee is committed to increase the visibility of women in Engineering Geology and will allocate more than one third of its key scientific positions to women.
Review committee
The peer review of the abstracts, extended abstracts and papers will follow an anonymous process. Reviewers will be acknowledged in the colophon of the book of abstracts and congress proceedings without links to the individual publications that they examined.
Below is a list of almost 100 reviewers who accepted to evaluate the abstracts and papers submitted to IAEG 2026. List under construction.
